Stag events are organised by the clubs, not by this archive. This page tells you which organisations run what, and where each publishes its current calendar, we deliberately do not reprint dates, because a stale date sends people to an empty car park.
There is more Stag activity than a newcomer expects: local area meetings most months, technical days through the winter, club stands at the big shows, and driving events that a sorted car can cover comfortably. What follows is a guide to the organisers and the type of event each runs, in the UK, North America and Australia. Confirm every date with the organiser before travelling.

Clubs and the events they run
Listed for reference rather than as endorsements. Where no link is given, search the organisation by name, addresses copied from forum posts go stale faster than the events themselves.
SOC area group meetings
Regular local meetings through the year, area by area
The backbone of Stag life in the UK. Each area group runs its own evening or daytime meetings, usually a pub, a hall or a member's workshop, with runs out in the warmer months and technical evenings in the winter. This is where you get a second pair of eyes on a car you are thinking of buying, and where a stubborn fault gets diagnosed by somebody who has already had it.
Finding current dates: Area groups and their contacts are listed by the club; dates are published in the club magazine and on the club's own site and members' forum rather than here, because they change frequently.

Annual, plus event appearances through the season
The club attends and organises larger Stag gatherings through the season, including club stands at major classic shows. These are the best opportunities to see a lot of Stags together, useful if you are still deciding between Mk1 and Mk2, or want to compare an original interior with a retrimmed one before committing to a restoration.
Finding current dates: Confirm the current year's calendar with the club directly. Event dates and venues are set annually and are announced through club channels.
Triumph Stag Club of the Americas gatherings
Regional gatherings and national Triumph meet attendance
North American Stags are thinly spread, so gatherings tend to happen alongside larger all-Triumph events rather than as Stag-only weekends. For a US owner these are the practical way to meet other LE-prefix Federal-car owners and compare notes on cooling, emissions equipment and parts shipping.
Finding current dates: Check the club directly for the current schedule. We do not republish dates here, an out-of-date date is worse than no date.
Triumph Stag Owners Club Australia meets
State-level runs and club days
Australian Stag activity runs largely through state Triumph car clubs and Stag registers, with runs, club days and concours entries. Heat management and interstate parts sourcing are recurring conversations, so these meets have practical value beyond the social side.
Finding current dates: Contact the relevant state club or Stag register for the current calendar; membership normally includes the event listing.
Club Triumph runs and rallies
Driving events through the season, plus long-distance runs
All-Triumph rather than Stag-only, and driving-focused rather than static. If you would rather use the car than polish it, this is the calendar to look at, the events are built around covering distance, and a well-sorted Stag is a genuinely good long-run car.
Finding current dates: Entry lists and dates are published by the club and usually open months in advance for the longer events.
Vintage Triumph Register national convention and chapter events
Annual national convention plus regional chapter events
The long-standing American all-Triumph organisation, with regional chapters running local events and an annual national convention that moves around the country. For a US Stag owner it is often the largest concentration of Triumph knowledge within reach.
Finding current dates: The convention location changes each year and is announced well in advance through the organisation.

Technical days and informal social meets
A lighter-touch alternative to full club membership, with technical days where jobs are demonstrated rather than described. Good for a first-time owner who wants to watch a chain or head job done before attempting anything.
Finding current dates: Announced through the group's own channels; ask in the group rather than relying on third-hand dates.
Shows & gatherings
The wider classic calendar
Beyond the marque clubs, most Stags are seen at general classic events. These are the categories worth knowing.
Major UK classic shows with club stands
The large national classic-car shows, the spring and autumn indoor shows and the big summer festivals, normally carry a Stag Owners Club stand. Going to a show specifically to see the club stand is a better use of a day than wandering the halls: you get an hour with people who know the car, next to several examples you can look under.
All-Triumph days
Triumph-wide gatherings usually attract a handful of Stags alongside TR and saloon models. Fewer Stags, but shared running gear, electrics and trim mean the advice still applies to plenty of jobs.
Local and charity meets
Monthly cars-and-coffee style meets, village shows and charity runs are where most Stags actually get used. They rarely appear in any national calendar, the club's area group is the way to hear about them.
Auction previews and dealer open days
Not events in the club sense, but a preview day lets you inspect several cars in one place without a seller standing over you. Take the numbers checklist with you.
Before you go
Preparing the car for an event day
Check the cooling system before a summer run
Almost every event-day Stag drama is a cooling one, and almost all of it is avoidable. Coolant condition, hose condition, fan operation and a temperature gauge you actually trust.
Do the pre-run checks the night before
Fluids, tyres, lights and a look underneath, not in the car park at eight in the morning.
Carry the things that strand a Stag
Water, a spare fan belt, fuses, a torch and the club's technical helpline number. Most roadside Stag failures are small and electrical.
Take your paperwork if you are buying or comparing
If you are at an event to look at cars rather than show one, bring the numbers checklist and a torch. Owners at a club stand will happily let you compare their car with one you are considering.
